So here we have a complete 8mins. vid showing off every-single fatality/heroic brutality from all the character's from Mortal Kombat vs. DC.

Even with the Joker's (BANG!) headshot censored in the US, the game can be enjoyable yet, it lack's of the character's fighting combos. But sometime's that's not the important thing on a game; as long as you have fun getting a chance to play your all-time favorite comic book hero. Most of the fatality's in the game are awesome, but there are also some that I personally think that the character's have more stored than what they delivered in the fighting arena.

Overall, the game is a pick-up for comic book and fighting games fans.

The New Xbox Experience has a new feature that lets you install your games into the HDD to speed up load times and to reduce the strain on your console and discs. However not all games seem to play well when installd from the HDD like Halo 3 wich actually runs slower than from the disc however they have a reason fo this:
Basically, the game was programmed to copy map files from the disc to the HDD to speed up load times. If you install the game to the HDD, it copies the files from your HDD to...another part of your HDD, which is a lot slower than a disc-to-HDD transfer.
Why does Halo 3 do this and other games don't? Bungie's Mat Noguchi says "we shipped Halo 3 before Microsoft finalized this particular feature. As a result, we were not able to take advantage of it (or any other potential optimizations we discovered after shipping Halo 3)".

Well now if Ubisoft could give me a reason as to why Assassin's Creed is all buggy when i play it from my HDD I'd be happy.

Favorite Retro Console

Image: http://i384.photobucket.com/albums/oo282/tigurr/Dreamcast-logo.gif Image: http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb194/ultimaedicao/Dreamcast.jpg ...

Hey guys guees wat? It's my birthday today, (yeah i know who cares) anyways today I'll be getting my favorite console ever.

THE DREAMCAST!!!!

So I'd like to know what you think and to post your favorite retro console and why is it your fave.

In my case i choose the Dreamcast, mainly cause it's just awesome, it was the first console to have good quality 3D graphics.
It also was the first to have online capability, and a web browser, it proved that console MMO's were possible, and the VMU(Visual Memory Unit) has to be the most original concept for a memory card i have ever seen.

So anyways guys get posting lets talk retro. =D.

Also apparently the dreamcast is also good for women's underwear o.O.

Guitar Hero World Tour, Music Game or Torture Device?

I remember the first time i got this game, went home and opened the box, and witnessed my shiny new guitar and awesome looking drumset. I also remember putting the disk in my XBOX 360 and playing for 2 hours straigth, then realizing that killing mutants in Fallout 3 was more fun.

GH WT (Guitar Hero World Tour) is a game that had many expectations, and sure enough they met many of them. The music studio feature is solid and its amazing what you can do with patience and some imagination, I'd say it's the equivalent of Little Big Planet's level creator, but where does the game fail?

Well while playing Eye of The Tiger and Beat It is fun, I find myself wondering what happened with GH this time on theyr setlist.
They have great songs yes, but On The Road Again?

Clearly this song is unnecessary, and La Bamba? fun song but not somehing i'd expect to play in a band based game. Where's the good stuff where's Coldplay, 3 Door's Down, Mortal Treason, Atreyu, Black Guayaba, just to mention a few.

Honestly the game is good the instruments work like they should, the songs are fun to play and the creator is solid. (allthough it doesn't matter if they are going to remove every song that has to do with an existing IP like Mario, Metal Gear Solid, ect.)

I say that if you have a spare 200$ you should get this game you'll like it, for those of you who dont, save your money for more important things, like a Anti Penguin Security System. GH WT Takes 7 broken guitar fret buttons out of 10.

YES I KNOW the game is old so what, i said i was going to write the review so here it is

First of i wanna say that this is one of the most beautiful JRPG, i have ever seen, the graphics are simply amazing, one of the best rpg looking game on the 360.The Gameplay of the game is action rpg, u encounter a monster a beat the crap out of it by doing combos, and linking them with special moves call artes,is just basically button smashing, but in a fun way,the story of the games is awesome it has 3 differents plots on the game,i say that cause u start doing something then u end up doing something else in the story, the voice acting in the game is really well done, the character really show emotion in what they say, not like the cheesy voice over of tales of symphonia dawn of the new world, yuri must be like the cooolest character i have seen in a video game, rpg i mean, ok enough said the game is really long about ermmm 60 hours the first time, if u plan on doing all the sidequest u will end up like with 150hours like me >.>, if u like rpgs pick up Tales of vesperia ITS REALLY WORTH THE 60$ I PAID FOR IT i give it a
This will be my last post for now i've been neglecting my job my boss is starting to notice <.<.

Anyways just thougth i'd let you guys know theres a CoD5 Tournament heres the details:

Video game retailer GameStop is getting ready to launch a nationwide tournament for Activision's latest war game, Call of Duty: World at War. The tiered tournament kicks off this Friday at GameStop locations around the country, featuring one-on-one, single-elimination style rounds. The best players from each store will then go on to the District semifinals on January 16th, then the Regional finals on January 23rd, all leading up to the championship event held on February 27th on the deck of the USS Midway aircraft carrier in San Diego.
The grand prize? $2,500 dollars in cash, which actually doesn't sound all that overwhelming as far as prizes go. Still, a free trip to San Diego is nothing to sneeze at, unless of course you live in or close to San Diego. Bragging rights are always nice?

Here are the details: http://www.gamestop.com/codworldatwar

Yes! This is one of the mayor issues i had with this game, they were making it T, wich means everything that made Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat was gonna be taken out.

Well now you can play MK in all of its glory (Joker bullet to the head fatality and all) on the european version of the game.

National Console Support announced yesterday it was accepting pre-orders for the European version, rated 16+ by PEGI. It's every so slightly gorier. Price for Americans is just $66.90 plus shipping, which should occur on or around November 21. Not a high price to pay for fatality integrity.

P.S. It's the region free PS3 version, but still worth mentioning.

Hey you know those fancy nw GoW Lancer assault rifle replicas. Well if you got one no doubt t probably doesn't work as it should, well you are not alone.

Apparently it has something to do with the battery connectors being wired for asian batteries, here's how to fix em.

Gears of War LANCER Replica Production Issue
11/11/2008
During production of the Lancer, some of the plastic enclosures had a piece reversed, which had no effect on batteries made in Asia. The Asian batteries have longer contact points and made the connection each time.
On some batteries made in the US and Europe the reversed piece does not allow for the batteries to make the connection. We have already developed a solution (a small thin metal plate, with instruction sheet) and we will gladly mail the metal plate to anyone with issues. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Please email me your name and mailing address to melaniecATnecaonlineDOTcom if you are encountering this problem.

Remember the last good Sonic game you played? Neither do I.

Sonic games are just not what they used to be, and they get critisized a lot, you'd think that the developer's would feel bad about it.
Well not according to Sonic Unleashed's director Yoshihisa Hashimoto, he says and I quote: "I think the fans' evaluations are fair I often read the forums run by Sonic fans on a routine basis,".

"I hardly feel any discomfort from their comments. I often find myself rather agreeable to them."

There you have it people critisize Sonic casue they like it, maybe one day soon they will decide to make a good 3D Sonic.... We can always hope.

Well it's been a while since i posted a review so i though id write about the latest 007 game.

Ok let's start by saying that it spoils the beggining of the movie, DUH!, anyhow Quantum Of Solace is an FPS(First Person Shooter) with a Bond theme to it. It follows the events from the movie, allthough for those of you out there that are afraid it migth ruin the movie for you don't be, the story is vaguely told concentrating more on the gameplay, besides you can skip all the cutscenes away.

Anyways getting back on the subject this game is good fun, it may not be as good as Gears or Resistance 2 or maybe dare i say World At War,(hate WW2 shooters -_-) but if you liked modern warfare you will most likely like this one.

They pretty much use the same engine the weapons fire the same even the aim its like they just ported Modern Warfare's engine and added cover to it. (thats not a bad thing)

The game play's well its fun and challenging the weapons and gadgets you aquire are nifty, and the campain should keep you occupied for about a day or 2 ( just like COD4) hell you even collect intel like on COD4.

The Multi Player: It's.......COD4 with a bond theme to it xD, seriously it's the best way to describe it, you'll feel right at home if youve played it and who hasn't from the customizing
your equipment, to the radar system and the gunplay.

That doesn't mean its not fun, it means it rocks the online is very fun it has about 8 multi player modes and theyr pretty fun, especially Golden Gun.

In the end its a really fun game and shouldn't be overlooked i'm not saying buy it even though if you do its not a bad thing =), but at least rent it you'll have a good time with it.

PS: Activision next Bond game you make.... Will it kill you to add some blood on it? I mean come on Rare's Golden Eye had animated blood on it, i think you can manage it to.

And I thought I was going to get sucked in by Fable II. :)

Fallout III is the best game I have played in years. The character creation is built-in to the storyline, which I loved. The sometimes hilarious questions you end up answering during the G.O.A.T. made me laugh and laugh.

The game starts out a little slow, and easy on the puzzles, which is always nice. It's very easy to fall right into the storyline without having to immediately fight for your life. Usually I attempt to play as a neutral character, but i think I am eventually going to be either really evil or really good. It's just too complicated to play without taking some sides.

The dialogue interactions are very well written, and make sense, as they change based on your actions. I always hate it when in a game a character only has 3 dialogue choices regardless if you've saved his best friend or screwed his mother.

The Wasteland is a realistic view of a post-apocalyptic USA. Nothing is pleasant, everything is dirty, and everyone you meet either wants something from you or wants to have you for dinner. You are always kept on your toes.

There are fewer of the "go to this person, bring him this thing, and return"-type quests in Fallout III, which is nice The tasks you are given advance in difficulty and as well as advancing the storyline.

Ok, been away from my guns too long. I will return....

My Time With Guitar Hero World Tour

I havent been able to play World Tour to much because of work so i havent posted my review yet i will post it on a later date however this post is about my experience with the game so far.

Ill start with the drums wich is what ive mostly used, the drums in WT(World Tour) are a little hard to get used to at first but once you do its a breeze to play the drumpads are strong and very silent compared to those of rockband and the elevated cymbals are a nice touch that makes the experience seem more authentic.

The guitar in WT has some new additions as well allthough to be honest to me theyr like the second set of fret buttons in Rock Band wich for me means useless, but at least it doesnt look like a fisherprice guitar anymore.

The playlist is very good containing all sorts of songs from Dream Theater and Linking Park to Michael Jackson's Beat It, and Eye of the Tiger. The graphics are not as good as Rock Band's but were not here for the graphics were here for the songs and the gameplay wich is great on WT if you have a spare 200$ to get the band set.

WT. has other features such as the music studio and ceate rocker (wich is self explained) but like i said due to work Little Big Planet and Fallout 3 i have not been able to play WT to much so expect a more detailed review with all of the modes explained later in the week.

And now back to killing Super Mutants.... in about 40 mins when i go home for lunch xD currently i am sitting at the infamous desk of Interwood. corporation =_=....
